As propriedades estruturais, magnéticas e hiperfinas destes nanocompostos serão amplamente caracterizadas. Estas caracterizações serão fundamentais para dimensionar a potencialidade destos materiais em aplicações como sensores de gás oxidante e/ou redutor. Manufactura Avanzada de Materiales Magnéticos y no Magnéticos Nanoestructurados para Aplicaciones en Salud y Contaminación Ambiental Semiconductores de óxidos metálicos no magnéticos y magnéticos en forma de películas delgadas y nanopartículas de ferritas (MFe2O4) con M= Co, Ni, Mn, vienen siendo estudiadas intensamente en los últimos años, para aplicaciones en diferentes áreas, dentro de las cuales podemos resaltar la hipertermia y sensores de gases. FABRICAÇÃO E CARACTERIZAÇÃO DE MATERIAIS NANOESTRUTURADOS VISANDO SUA APLICAÇÃO COMO BIO-SENSORES Nas aplicações tecnológicas atuais, os materiais óxidos nanoestruturados podem ser usados como bio-sensores. Estes materiais têm ganhado grande interesse já que apresentam um grande potencial para serem usados como uma ferramenta em diagnósticos médicos já que podem permitir uma avaliação rápida, não invasiva e de baixo custo. O princípio de funcionamento é a detecção de um gás específico (etano, pentano, amoníaco, acetona, etanol, tolueno, detre outros).
