STEENKEN . ANDRE

Mi trabajo científico está enfocado en el entendimiento de los procesos dinámicos en la escala local y regional combinando diferentes técnicas en el campo de la geología estructural, incluidos las fábricas magnéticas, geodinámicas, geoquímica isotópica y aproximación de elementos finitos. Mis proyectos de investigación se centran en la comprensión de ascenso del magma y la inflación batolito con respecto al campo de deformación regional. Esos estudios se llevaron a cabo en los Alpes Orientales (Austria – Italia), Sierras Pampeanas (Argentina), Cordillera de La Costa (Chile) y el Dom Feliciano Belt (Estado Santa Catarina, Brasil). Los últimos tres también fueron estudiados en detalle con el fin de desentrañar la historia geotectónica en el Neoproterozoico, el Paleozoico y Mesozoica en el margen del Cratón de Rio de la Plata.
