MARTÍNEZ  LUIS CARLOS

Posee graduación en Ingeniería Agronómica del Instituto Universitario de La Paz (2000, Colombia), maestría en Ciencias Agrarias (con énfasis en Entomología) de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia (2010, Colombia) e doctorado en Entomología de la Universidade Federal de Viçosa (2014, Brasil). Actualmente es investigador (pos-doctorado) en el departamento de Entomología de la Universidade Federal de Viçosa. Actuó como investigador (pos-doctorado) en el departamento de Biología celular y Estructural de la Universidade Federal de Viçosa, investigador en control de diferentes plagas en varios centros de investigación agrícola y profesor en universidades de Colombia. Tiene experiencia en el área de Entomología, con énfasis en Manejo Integrado de Plagas (control biológico con depredadores e parasitoides, control microbiano con hongos, bacterias y virus, uso de feromonas / aleloquímicos y toxicología con agroquímicos), Morfología externa e interna de insectos, Bioquímica e Fisiología de insectos (enzimología, inmunología, proteómica). Ha desarrollado y ejecutado proyectos de investigación financiados por agencias gubernamentales y empresas privadas. Además, es miembro editor y revisor de diversas revistas científicas internacionales. Área de actuación: Biología Celular y Estructural, Bioquímica y Fisiología de insectos, Comportamiento y Ecología de insectos, Fitosanidad, Enzimología, Proteómica / Bioquímica de Proteínas y Péptidos, Toxicología.
