CAMACHO CABALLERO LUIS

Luis Camacho is an entrepreneur and research fellow at PUCP. He holds a BSEE degree from Catholic University (PUCP) and a Telecommunications Engineering MSc degree from San Marcos National University (UNMSM). Cloud DevOps Engineer certified by Udacity. R Programmer certified by Coursera. He holds Linux, DevOps, and Kubernetes certificates issued by The Linux Foundation. He is the leader of the team that developed the first speech-to-text software of the southern Quechua language. He founded the Artificial Intelligence for Good (Siminchikkunarayku) in 2016, the Center for Technology Transfer on Climate Change (CCTTC) in 2012, and the Rural Telecommunications Research Group (GTR) in 1998, all these organizations within PUCP. Software Developer, https://github.com/tawantinsuyurunakunarayku Designer and manager of 20 telecommunications infrastructure deployment projects (telecommunications towers, power system, lightning and grounding system, antennas, routers, and PCs) in the most isolated extreme rural villages of Peru. These projects were financed with competitive resources from important cooperation agencies. Since 1999, GTR has deployed projects worth more than US$ 6 million. Researcher in NLP, HLT, ICT4D, Innovation Management and Technology Transfer. Designer and practitioner of electrical protection for cellular base stations, industrial plants, electrical networks, and residential buildings. Member of the Peruvian Engineering Professional Body (CIP 129592), a member of IEEE (ID 92454723), member of the Internet Society (ID 138673), and alumni GIZ.
