Ingeniero Meteorólogo en la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM). Es Maestro y Doctor en Meteorología de la Universidad de Sao Paulo, Brasil. Especializado en contaminación del aire, principalmente en los siguientes temas: modelos fotoquímicos, aerosoles atmosféricos, monitoreo de dióxido de nitrógeno con alta resolución utilizando satélite con TROPOMI (TROPOspheric Monitoring Instrument) y modelos receptores. Ha publicado en revistas científicas internacionales sobre temas de contaminación del aire. Actualmente es docente Investigador de la carrera profesional de Ingeniería Ambiental de la Universidad Nacional Tecnológica de Lima Sur (UNTELS).

Proyectos de investigación Pronóstico estacional de lluvias y temperaturas en la cuenca del río Mantaro para su aplicación en la agricultura El Modelo Climático Regional (RegCM) es un modelo hidrostático de área limitada, con coordenada vertical sigma (Elguindi et al., 2009). El RegCM tiene cuatro componentes: Terrain, ICBC (condiciones iniciales y de frontera), el modelo propiamente y Postproc. El Terrain y ICBC son dos componentes de preprocesamiento, mientras que el Postproc permite el posprocesamiento, luego de que el modelo se ejecute.
