Jesús Ayala-Colqui is a Professor and Researcher in Social Sciences and Contemporary Philosophy. He also teaches Spanish as a Foreign Language (ELE). He is fluent in Spanish, French, English and Portuguese. In 2022 he was awarded, among thousands of professors, as the best teacher of his university, having obtained the highest score in the areas of student satisfaction, class evaluation, training, punctuality, speed in recording grades and scientific publications. He holds a Masters Degree in Contemporary Philosophy from the Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile), and a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy from the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos (Peru), where he graduated first in academic merit in the entire Faculty of Arts and Human Sciences, receiving the highest honors for his undergraduate thesis. He was a Santander Scholar at UNAM (Mexico) and a LASPAU Scholar at Harvard University (USA). Furthermore, he has been invited as a guest lecturer in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Cuba and Costa Rica. He has published more than a dozen articles in indexed journals (Scopus and WoS). Finally, he has also participated as author in edited books published in England (Routledge and Bloomsbury), Mexico (UNAM), Croatia (University of Split) and Brazil (Pimenta Cultural).
