HONORIO CORONADO EURIDICE NORA

Investigadora de la Universidad de St Andrews en el Reino Unido, con más de quince años de experiencia en la investigación de los bosques amazónicos con énfasis en las turberas tropicales. Mi trabajo de investigación enfoca en la botánica, la ecologí­a de plantas y la dinámica de los bosques tropicales. Asimismo, estoy interesada en entender los procesos ecológicos e históricos que determinan la distribución de especies amazónicas. Tengo amplia experiencia en inventarios florísticos, inventarios de carbono, determinación de especies arbóreas, manejo de colecciones biológicas (herbario y arboreto), procesamiento de datos moleculares, filogeografía y genética de poblaciones. Formo parte de la Red Amazónica de Inventarios Forestales (RAINFOR) que realiza trabajos de investigación en el ciclo del carbono a nivel de Amazonia continental. Tengo experiencia en la ejecución de proyectos de investigación, y en la redacción y la evaluación de artí­culos científicos para revistas nacionales e internacionales.
