Ruby Antonieta Vega Ravello, Bachiller en Ciencias - Agronomía e Ingeniera Agrónoma de la Universidad Nacional Agraria La Molina (UNALM), Magister Scientiae en la Especialidad de Suelos de la Escuela de Posgrado de la UNALM y Doctora en Ciencia del Suelo en el Área de Fertilidad del Suelo y Nutrición de Plantas de la Universidad Federal de Lavras en Brasil. Experiencia profesional e investigaciones centradas en el manejo y conservación de los suelos de los diferentes sistemas de uso de la tierra en la costa, sierra y selva del Perú, complementando la producción de los cultivos y especies forestales con el manejo y monitoreo de las diversas calidades de agua para cada una de estas realidades en nuestro país, de lo que se destaca: Fertirrigación de cultivos de exportación (uva, cítricos, espárrago, palto, granada, baby corn, banano, blueberries) y monitoreo nutricional; nutrición vegetal a través de fertilización orgánica y convencional; manejo e implementación de métodos de riego en cultivos en la costa peruana, manejo de aguas y suelos salinos, sódicos y salinos-sódicos; dinámica de la materia orgánica del suelo y nutrientes; contribución del carbono de la hojarasca y residuos de cosechas; reciclaje de nutrientes, en especial nitrógeno y fósforo; producción de abonos orgánicos; manejo de suelos ácidos y de sistemas agroforestales.
