GARCIA ZUÑIGA FREDY FORTUNATO

El Dr. Fredy F. Garcia Zuñiga es Doctor SUMA CUM LAUDE de la Universidad Paris 6, Francia. Su Doctorado y Maestría, los realizó en el - Laboratoire de Géologie Structurale, Géomorphologie et Télédétection de l Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris 6, France - Sus trabajos de investigación los realizó en las relaciones tectónica - magmatismo, modelización y aplicaciones de sensores remotos en los Volcanes Pinatubo y la Caldera Taal en Filipinas en colaboración con el Instituto Filipino de Vulcanología y Sismología, PHIVOLCS; y en los volcanes activos del Sur del Perú. Dichas investigaciones fueron respaldadas por Instituciones Internacionales como UNESCO, IGARS, ESA, RADARSAT - ADRO project. Su formación internacional en riegos geológicos, volcanología y geofísica, los realizó en el CSIC - Casa de los Volcanes, Lanzarote - España, y el CERG UNIGE, Universidad de Ginebra - Suiza. En su experiencia internacional de investigación - enseñanza, también trabajó en proyectos de protección ambiental en la Universidad Católica de Salta, Sede Buenos Aires - Gendarmería Nacional. Actualmente, es Docente Asociado en la Facultad de Geología, Geofísica y Minas - UNSA.
