Profesional con más de 30 años de experiencia en el sector energético-ambiental. Especialista en análisis integrado de sistemas energéticos, incorporando variables tecnológicas, económicas y ambientales. Experticia en el desarrollo de proyectos orientados a la mejora de la eficiencia energética en producción, distribución y uso final de la energía así como en el desarrollo de proyectos relacionados a la utilización de las energías renovables como alternativa para la sustitución de combustibles fósiles. Experiencia en la elaboración de planes estratégicos en el sector energético orientados al desarrollo sostenible. Magíster en Energías Renovables (Alemania) y Doctor en Engineering Management (USA). Catedrático de los Programas de Maestría de la UNI, en las especialidades de: 1) Gerencia de Proyectos Electro-Mecánicos, 2) Energética, 3) Ingeniería del Gas Natural y 4) Gestión Ambiental. Catedrático del Programa de Doctorado en Energética de la UNI. Certified Energy Manager (CEM) otorgado por la Association of Energy Engineers (USA) habiendo ejecutado más de 250 auditorías energéticas en instalaciones industriales de Estados Unidos, México, Brasil, Ecuador y Perú. Auditor de Sistemas de Gestión de Energía ISO 50001, certificado por Bureau Veritas Business School (España). Evaluador de Proyectos de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación, de Proyectos presentados al Programa Iberoamericano de Ciencia y Tecnología para el Desarrollo (CYTED, España), y del Comité Científico del Congresso Brasileiro de Energia Solar (CBENS, Brasil). Miembro del Cuerpo Colegiado de OSINERGMIN para solución de controversias, del Sub-Comité Técnico de Iluminación y Comité Técnico Nacional del Uso Racional y Eficiente de la Energía de INACAL-MINEM, y del Sub-Comité Técnico de Eco-Eficiencia y Comité Técnico Nacional de Gestión Ambiental de INACAL-MINAM, de ASME y de IEEE.
