Ingeniero Agroindustrial por la Universidad Nacional de Trujillo con Maestría y Doctorado en Ciencia y Tecnología de Alimentos, realizados en la Escuela Superior de Agricultura “Luiz de Queiroz”-Universidad São Paulo (USP), Brasil. Con actuación en el área de microbiología de alimentos relacionados con la detección, identificación y tipificación de patógenos, mediante técnicas de Biología molecular. Con pasantías en la Universidad Austral de Chile, Valdivia y en la Universidad de Cornell, Ithaca, Nueva York, USA. Actualmente, docente en la escuela profesional de Ingeniería Agroindustrial- UNACH, Cajamarca.
